Join Worlds 4 All for learn-to-play session of Dungeons & Dragons!

In this session, we will embark on a newbie-friendly adventure using the newest edition of Dungeons & Dragons (2024). In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, our world and partially-pregenerated characters will be derived from the newly released Koboa source book, which features an all South American design team and is brimming fantastic creatures and stories based on South American cultures. There are six (6) player spots available for ages 16 and older, and we love to play with people of all experience levels, though this particular game will be geared towards beginners with lower-level characters! We will provide everything you need to play, from dice to character sheets, and explain all of the rules as we go.

At Worlds 4 All, we are a woman, queer, and Latina-owned company whose approach to creative events is rooted in the understanding that people cannot truly have the freedom to play, create, and build community unless they first feel safe. We strive to make every gaming table a safer and more inclusive space for all players by using a variety of safety tools, including a pre-game Session Zero form and x-cards, to set clear boundaries, preview game themes, and accommodate health and accessibility needs. 

Lawrence Heritage State Park is a state park with a beautiful visitor's center dedicated to sharing the history of the city of Lawrence. We will be playing INSIDE on the first floor of the visitor's center in the recreation of the Thelma Todd Theater, so we will have access to bathrooms and other amenities. There is a small, free parking lot reserved for park patrons that you are welcome to use, as well as free street parking on Sundays in the surrounding area. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink to enjoy while we play.
