Welcome the Festive Season this year at the Double Bay Christmas Fair!

Join us on the 9th of December from 10am-8pm in Guilfoyle Park to see it transformed into a Christmas Wonderland! This incredible community initiative, put on by the Bay Street Initiative team, is the start of what will become an annual Christmas Fair, bringing the holiday spirit to Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

The day will consist of:

- Christmas Markets

- Family Entertainment

- Dogs of Double Bay Show

- An evening Christmas Concert with Chris Sebastian

- A visit from Santa

Bay St and Double Bay has staked a claim as the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney Australia's foremost retail and lifestyle precinct, with the street and surrounding area of Double Bay now evolving into a high energy commercial and retail center.

Bay Street and its surrounding Double Bay features a curated mix of over many speciality stores, including a range of design showrooms and fashion boutiques, award-winning restaurants and cafes, in addition to art galleries, design havens and grooming emporiums. Playing home to some of Australia’s favourite designers, the precinct attracts those seeking a design-forward retail experience in a leafy urban setting Bay St combines cultural awareness and trade with a relaxed Harbourside spirit.

Inclusive of staging unique and creative events that promote cultural and community discourse, Bay Street Double Bay invites the public to escape the perpetual sameness of shopping malls and re-think Double Bay’s retail and public spaces as places for community, creatives and business to come together.

The Bay Street Initiative Pty Ltd (BSI) is a privately funded, non-profit business that was formed in June 2021 by a group of stakeholders who saw potential in transforming the area into an urban hub.

Bay St was established to promote and strengthen Double Bay, and to lift the profile and trade of the retailers residing within the stakeholder properties and surrounding area. Operating as the communications, event and public relations office for the properties and retailers, Bay Street has implemented a range of ideas to achieve inherent goals and objectives for the properties within the stakeholder remit.
