    Dr Judith Locke presents Resilience in Upper Primary Years 

    Parents of students from Year 4 to Year 6 are invited to a session with clinical psychologist Dr Judith Locke to help children become confident and capable. 

    Date: Tuesday 1 August 2023 
    Time: 6.00pm - 7.45pm
    Venue: Valmai Pidgeon Performance Arts Complex (VPAC), Level 5, Davenport Theatre

    Dr Judith Locke, the founder of Confident and Capable, is a clinical psychologist, and former school counsellor, teacher and workplace trainer. She is the author of two parenting books, The Bonsai Child and The Bonsai Student. 

    • “The Bonsai Child” is about the foundations of raising children - building children's resilience and confidence, making them good company, helping them cope with tricky situations, developing their respect, and consequences.
    • “The Bonsai Student” is about school-related topics - schoolwork, homework, morning and afternoon routines, dealing with school disappointment, screens, reports, their final year of school and university etc.
