Dr Judith Locke presents Resilience in Upper Primary Years

Parents of students from Year 4 to Year 6 are invited to a session with clinical psychologist Dr Judith Locke to help children become confident and capable.

Dr Judith Locke, the founder of Confident and Capable, is a clinical psychologist, and former school counsellor, teacher and workplace trainer. She is the author of two parenting books, The Bonsai Child and The Bonsai Student.

“The Bonsai Child” is about the foundations of raising children - building children's resilience and confidence, making them good company, helping them cope with tricky situations, developing their respect, and consequences.

“The Bonsai Student” is about school-related topics - schoolwork, homework, morning and afternoon routines, dealing with school disappointment, screens, reports, their final year of school and university etc.
