    Event description

    Graphic by Brenna Furnace.

Taking back our power! Brought to you by Moxie Delite and Belial B'zarr, Dragraiser is a community variety show that aims to raise funds for the queer community in Naarm. This show specifically aims to raise money that will go towards community run queer workshops facilitated by Belial B'Zarr.

With the rising amount of hate towards drag performers and gender non-conforming people by the far right, events and work are being cancelled and pulled from under the rug from many LGBTQIA+ performers in need. WE protect us - support of the queer arts has never been more crucial. All funds will go towards paying speakers, venue hire and catering for the educational workshops by Belial B'Zarr. More details of fund redistribution will be found at @dragraisermelbourne on Instagram.

Variety show is hosted by Moxie Delite and features some of the most fabulous talent that Naarm has to offer!

Featuring drag and cabaret acts from Venus Vamp, Strewth, Annie Social & Opal, Prozac, Winter Greene, Lilium, Belial B'Zarr and more!

Raffle to be held on the night and more announcements will be available on the @dragraisermelbourne Instagram page.

    Shows at 9 and 10 and 11!

    Accessibility:

    18+ event.

The event will be livestreamed via the @moxiedelite Instagram. All ticket holders are welcome to access the livestream in the case they change their mind and want to watch from home.

All bathrooms are gender neutral. The venue is partially accessible for special needs patrons, a wheelchair ramp will be brought out to the entrance of the venue and the venue can be contacted in advance to accommodate any needs from patrons that may arise. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom at the rear of the beer-garden, with a handrail installed. The bar area itself can get quite congested when busy and a few shallow steps exist throughout the venue. Strobe lighting will not be used at our show.

This event is held on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders past and present, and extend that respect to any Indigenous people who will be joining us for Dragraiser. Discounted tickets available for mob.

This was, and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
