Event description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Dress for Success NSW & ACT (Sydney branch).

Dress for Success NSW & ACT supports more than 2,500 women into employment across NSW & the ACT. Our signature Styling service and suite of Career Support offerings aim to help women overcome bias and discrimination when entering or re-entering the workforce – at no cost to the women needing the services. Our service is supported by hundreds of volunteers who enable us to drive impact for women seeking employment.

Due to the inherent nature of the Dress for Success styling duties it is necessary that the volunteer roles be filled by females only.

Attendance at one of our Volunteer Information Sessions is a prerequisite to becoming a registered Volunteer with us.

The induction session will cover the following topics:

  • Who we are, what we do
  • Our Clients and stakeholders
  • The volunteering roles and opportunities available
  • What to expect as a Volunteer with Dress for Success NSW & ACT
  • Tour of premises including our client styling and volunteer sorting areas

To assist our charity with administration costs we ask for a non-refundable, tax-deductible donation of $25 when you book to attend a Volunteer Information Session.

Upcoming sessions to choose from:

All inductions are face to face at Dress for Success, Inner West Sustainability Hub, Lot 1, 7 Prospect Road, Summer Hill
