This month, we’re thrilled to welcome one of Australia’s most enduring and beloved songwriters, Mark Callaghan as our special guest. From the surf-soaked energy of The Riptides to the iconic anthems of GANGgajang, Mark has helped shape the soundtrack of Australian life for nearly five decades. His journey began in the late 1970s with a group of fellow architecture students and has taken him through some of the country’s most memorable musical chapters — from hit singles and television scores to solo releases and industry leadership.

This intimate evening will explore Mark’s rich and varied career: from writing classic tracks like "Sounds of Then (This is Australia)", to producing, managing, and mentoring artists across the music business. Mark brings a rare dual perspective as both a celebrated artist and a seasoned industry professional.
