Dying to Know NOBODY KNOWS Dinner
Event description
Join us as we gather and share this Etriean feast at Mu'ooz because compassion tastes better when shared and community grows around a table.
We’re not here to whisper about death. We’re here to yell about life.
Dying to Know is a national campaign to inspire you to begin to prepare for the inevitable, not with fear, but with purpose, love, and a sense of legacy.
Our Campaign kicks off this year with – Nobody Knows
Nobody Knows is a cheeky, irreverent campaign designed to expose the absurdity of keeping your end-of-life wishes a secret. Because not telling anyone your final wishes is chaotic, confusing, and worst of all creates guesswork and potential family division.
At its core, Nobody Knows ‘The Secret I’m Glad I Shared’ is a call-out. Because if Nobody Knows your final wishes, they never will. Share them now.
Sharing a little information about the delicious feast and beautiful host:
In Eritrea, a meal is a collective experience whereby family and friends share food from a large platter filled with layers of enjera and topped with a delicious assortment of spicy stews and vegetarian dishes.
Eating involves tearing off a piece of enjera and wrapping it around a portion of food and then eating without the use of cutlery.
Entrée of ENJERA & DIPS (v), which is a sourdough flatbread with an assortment of 4 homemade vegetable dips included are Shiro, Silsi, salsa & yogurt, cucumber & garlic.
Dishes are served with Enjera & Mu’ooz salata / rice.
