Dylan and the Observable Universe are like a hug from your cat except they won’t trigger your allergies and they’ve never killed a mouse. As the singer/songwriter of Melbourne’s newest therapy band, Dylan Knur (violinist for Parkville, Pia Nesvara, Riley Catherall) sings a mix of soul-baring self-care mantras, exposés of Santa Claus’s gambling empire, and love songs for Microsoft Office Excel 2007. If you think his band (Paul Kascamanidis, Caitlin Thomas, Liam Bell) are going to play the gentlest, prettiest whispers underneath these songs, give yourself a gold star. This is music for the softest of souls.

Come Heavy Sleep are an expressive original music duo based in Melbourne that compose and perform folk noir music.Amongst their balladry and meditative improvisation you'll hear cello, dobro, and voice all coalesce to give weathered flesh to rustic songs about old times and alone times. Come Heavy Sleep brings you the music of empty country at dusk and a wine in the shadows.
