We invite you to our Early Years Community of Practice FREE event. Part one on Tuesday the 13 February and part two on 26 March, from 3:30 – 5:30pm at the Community Room, Kingsford Smith School, Holt ACT.

The Early Years CoP is for anyone working in the early years sector. This includes professionals across Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) settings, preschool/primary education, health, academia and the community services. If you are an the Early Years CoP is for you!

It is supported by Village partners including Capital Region Community Service (CRCS), Community Services Directorate (Best Start and AEDC) and EACH (NDIS partner delivering the Early Childhood Approach).

Join us for an engaging community of practice event where we will dive into important topics related to early childhood development:

• Developmental milestones from birth to five years 
  
• Understanding developmental delay and disability
• Strategies to build stronger relationships with families
• Effective communication of concerns with families
• Where to seek support

This event aims to empower attendees with valuable knowledge and practical insights. Stephanie Johnston, a seasoned expert in community capacity building, will lead the conversation and provide expert guidance.

The Early Years Community of Practice supports early years practitioners across the ECEC, education and health sectors to regularly come together to hear from relevant topic experts and share their understanding and knowledge of the current issues in areas of relating to the early years. It aims to blend individual and collective learning through the development of a shared practice. Resulting in improved understanding, practice and connection, leading to better outcomes in the ACT for children and families in the early years.
