Eggsperience Easter on a real egg farm!
Margaret River Organic Farmily are eggcited to welcome you to our Landcare award-winning regenerative farm for some special tours this school holiday. As well as having some Easter fun, we’ll meet the animals & explore how we can raise protein in an ethical & ecologically responsible way.
There are plenty of options including kids’ chocolate egg hunt or a naturally dyed egg hunt and a farm-fresh sundown sizzle. Each day’s offering is different - see details to make the right choice for you. And please book in good time as tickets are limited!
After each tour, we will return to our farm shop to continue chatting over a cup of organic leaf tea or coffee. Here you can also browse our range of organic produce and goodies for your pets & gardens (advance orders welcome at www.organicfarmer.com/shop - please just add a note that you will collect on your tour).
Note: we are a working farm & under 18s must be accompanied by adults. This tour includes walking over uneven paddocks, and long pants & closed toe shoes must be worn.
SATURDAY 30 MARCH 2024, 3:50-6pm - Easter farm tour with sundown organic sausage sizzle (2 hours)
* Help us collect eggs from our laying hens in their caravan ‘Chicktopia’.
* Learn how our organic open range egg farming system works.
* Visit our holistically managed beef cattle & discover how we produce meat regeneratively.
* Naturally-dyed Easter egg hunt & kids activities including a take home Easter bag & decorative gift (see Monday for chocolate egg hunt event).
* Complimentary organic leaf teas & coffee.
* Enjoy a farm-fresh organic sausage & egg sizzle - dinner's sorted!
