Welcome to our Ecstatic Dance Community!
Announcing DJ FernGulli and Sound Healer Louise Charman-James from Soul Signature at this month's dance!!
Ecstatic dance is a moving meditation, a self healing practice, a dance therapy where we intuitively move with the natural flow of energy in our body. We release emotional tension & stagnant energy held in our bodies during our dance, opening up to our body's wisdom.
Ecstatic Dance Wollongong is an emerging dance community where you can connect with other like-hearted souls who also love to dance as part of their inner journey. This is a place where you can surrender to your dance, celebrate your inner freedom, connect and have FUN!
No dance skills are necessary here and it’s important to not take yourself too seriously. You're always held where you are in every moment and there's a relaxing healing circle at the end, allowing space for self reflection and integration.
We gather every 4th Friday at Coledale Hall 7:00-8:30pm (during school terms) ALL WELCOME!
Bring friends - if there's someone who you think might be interested in connecting and dancing together, invite them along! Building community is what it's all about!
There'll be chats with tea before dance. Wear comfy clothes that are easy to move in, bring a blanket for reflection time at the end and don't forget your water bottle. We occasionally have sound healing at the end too, depending on availability.
Temple donation is $20. This is a community offering for EVERYONE. Allison has been holding ecstatic dance for women over the past two years at Coledale Hall but this is the launch of a new dance held every month. The intention is to bring heart-centred community together. The $20 donation covers hall hire, insurance, organising, prep time, tea etc. We have a ticketing system so we can prepare accordingly.

More about your Host: Allison from Midnight Garden Temple
I’m a Tantric Healing Practitioner and Temple Curator for Midnight Garden Temple. I’m passionate about creating sacred transformative spaces for community to come together and heal, activate and expand. My offerings are focused on the integration of sacred sexuality to return to spiritual balance for a more vital and ecstatic human experience. I’ve been holding wellness events in the area, including Lovefest Wollongong, collaborative women's circles/retreats and fortnightly ecstatic dance nights for women at Coledale Hall. I love building community, sharing my journey and inspiring others to take steps towards their own self-realisation.
