Event description

Meet Danny, Jude, André, Bobby, Mona, Miles, Millie and Astrid: eight young people who have grown up in a commercial, booming world where anything and everything is available in excess...much like the world we live in today.

From a bomb survivor to an injured soldier working in a morgue to a prostitute who yearns for the return of conservative values, Eight is a set of compelling stories that seem just as eerily relevant now as in 2008.

When so many are turning to apathy or fundamentalism, what do we choose to believe in?

This is the first project by Leech Productions, a local group of past UoA students. Produced and directed by Emma Uren. Tickets by donation (pay what you can).

A community theatre production, by special arrangement with Nick Hern and the Play Bureau. Contains mature content and language.
