Meet Danny, Jude, André, Bobby, Mona, Miles, Millie and Astrid: eight young people who have grown up in a commercial, booming world where anything and everything is available in excess...much like the world we live in today.

From a bomb survivor to an injured soldier working in a morgue to a prostitute who yearns for the return of conservative values, Eight is a set of compelling stories that seem just as eerily relevant now as in 2008.

When so many are turning to apathy or fundamentalism, what do we choose to believe in?
