OVERVIEW
Elemental wisdom is a 4 day program that aims to provide a space for people to cultivate a deeper connection with the elements through:
- Ritual
- Ceremony
- Singing
- Dance (as embodiment and as an offering to the element)
- Meditation
- Connecting with plant spirits each week (correlating to each element)
- Utilising sacred spiritual tools and instruments
We will come together in ceremony and ritual each day to focus on each element. Participants will be given practices to continue cultivating connection with each element for the rest of the day and throughout their integration time.
One of the key reasons that anyone is able to treat the Earth, the water, themselves or one-another badly is because of a disconnect. A disconnect from the simple truths of nature, a connection that can be reignited, remembered, and re-activated through making a conscious effort to cultivate a deep connection and relationship with the Earth and the elements. The more people that can be supported to cultivate this connection, the better the world will be, as we can co-create heaven on earth through this simple yet profound connection with the elements of creation.
As once this connection is established the idea that we are not separate from the earth; that we are the water, the fire, the earth the wind- is no longer an idea, no longer just a concept of the mind, it becomes an embodied wisdom, you can tap into the infinite wisdom and life force energy contained in the elements of creation.
The 4 days are not about imparting wisdom and knowledge to you, it is designed to set the space and give you the tools and practices to gain the wisdom and knowledge through deep communion and connection to the elements, rather than simply just digesting knowledge and wisdom from someone else and only receiving it with the mind.
How do you know if Elemental Wisdom is for you?
Are you someone that will go to the beach, or a creek and just see the water as somewhere you can have a swim and cool down, it’s nice to look at, but that’s the extent of your connection to it?
Perhaps you are someone that has spent ample time in nature but you are yet to take the time to experience the aliveness of nature, breathe with a tree, make an offering to the water? Maybe you are someone that grew up in a city and never had much experience in nature?
Or are you someone that is in communion with nature, but only when you are sitting with plant medicines in ceremony and would like to integrate these practices more into your daily life?
Are you feeling stressed? Run down, disconnected or numb, has the business of life stopped you from truly slowing down, dropping in deeply and truly feeling the aliveness of creation?
Perhaps you have felt that deep and profound connection but the stresses of every day life has prevented you from taking the time to connect on a regular basis? Perhaps you need a reminder and a facilitated space to reconnect?
Whether you have very little connection with nature, or you have deeply connected with nature but you wish to create an ongoing and sustained connection, and relationship with the earth and elements (ayni), and ultimately cultivate a deeper connection to self, and to take aligned action from that space.
