Elliott Fox 'Saint Grey' solo art exhibition - Hoomans Helping Hounds, Shearwater, Tasmania

'Saint Grey' is Elliott Fox's debut solo art exhibition on greyhounds and dog racing. Sculptures, paintings, and screen prints will showcase these dogs as family members, and not gambling commodities. The Principal Sponsor for the exhibition is GREY2K USA Worldwide.

The opening event and exhibition at Shearwater, Tasmania is being generously hosted by Major Sponsor and Friend of the 'Saint Grey' exhibition, Hoomans Helping Hounds.

This event is for art lovers and animal lovers who believe that everyone is deserving of care, comfort and love. People who are unfamiliar with greyhounds or dog racing in Australia are especially encouraged to attend.

The guests of honor for the opening event are greyhounds! Parents of greyhounds are encouraged to bring their greyhounds to the opening night, if suitable and appropriate in crowd settings. For the safety and comfort of all greyhounds, hoomans and artworks, please ensure greyhounds are supervised and kept on lead at all times. Children must also be supervised at all times.

Elliott is a mixed media visual artist with a passion for engaging audiences emotionally and intellectually through his subtle, soulful and thought-provoking artworks. The exhibition features 18 new works, travelling to cities as far as funding and donations received will support.

The title of this exhibition is 'Saint Grey', which is also the name of the awe-inspiring and reverent centerpiece sculpture of this exhibition. Artworks will engage audiences through soulful greyhound portraitures to showcase their characters and personalities as family members, as well using subtle messaging and symbolism to stimulate conversation about the commodification of animals for gambling exploitation.

There is considerable local, national and international interest and in-kind support for this project, including ten major animal charity and advocacy groups: GREY2K USA Worldwide, Hoomans Helping Hounds, Animal Liberation NSW, Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds, Greyt Grey Rescue, Amazing Greys, Free the Hounds, Friends of the Hound, ACT Greyhound Support Network, and Greyhound Welfare Initiative.

The opening event tickets include a beverage from the bar and light catering refreshments. Purchased tickets also include upon arrival a complimentary raffle ticket for prizes drawn at the event, and a $10 store voucher redeemable for clothing for the duration of the exhibition.

Opening event is a ticket only event on Saturday, 1 November 2025 from 4.30pm to 7pm, at Hoomans Helping Hounds, Shearwater.

The exhibition will then be open free to the public during store opening hours from 2 November to 6 December 2025. Check store opening hours before attending.

Following Shearwater, Tasmania, the exhibition will then travel for its final exhibition to:
