    Event description

Do you struggle with maintaining clear distinctions between your own needs, preferences, and personal space, and those of others? Does this lead you to feel confused, overwhelmed, and like you're losing yourselves in relation to others sometimes? Do you often struggle to know what you want/need?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop might be for you.

When boundaries blur, we may feel disconnected from our authentic selves. We might prioritise others' needs and expectations over our own, leading to a diminished sense of identity and autonomy. This can feel frustrating and disempowering at times. I know I've been there and acquired tools along the way to support me get a better sense of my boundaries which in turn allowed me to gain clarity around my needs and desires.

And so there i am, inviting you on a journey into the realm of self-awareness and embodied boundary cultivation. In this experiential workshop, we'll delve deep into the wisdom of our bodies, reconnecting with ourselves and honouring our boundaries.

The intention of this container is to allow you to reclaim your sense of self, reconnecting with your inner truth, desires, and asserting these aspects of yourself in interactions and relationships.

    Date & Time: Friday 21st June 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Location: AKA Studio Yoga - 130C Nicholson st - Brunswick East

    Why Cultivate Embodied Boundaries?

    • Self-Awareness and Self-Connection: Through embodied practices, we deepen our understanding of ourselves and connect with the invaluable wisdom held within our bodies.
    • Honouring Personal Limits: Boundaries define where we end and others begin. Cultivating embodied boundaries helps us honor our personal limits and communicate them effectively to others.
    • Healthy Relationships: Clear boundaries are crucial for fostering healthy relationships. Embodied boundaries enable us to engage authentically and respectfully with others.
    • Empowerment and Self-Care: Setting and upholding boundaries is an act of self-care and self-respect, empowering us to lead more balanced and fulfilling lives.
    • Resilience and Empathy: Understanding and respecting our own boundaries enhances our capacity for empathy and fosters healthier communication with others.
    • Reducing Stress and Overwhelm: Engaging in embodied boundary practices helps us recognise and prioritise our well-being, reducing stress and overwhelm in our lives.
