"It helped my body let go of tightness"
"Robyn's Somatic class helped me let go of tension in my body by teaching me how to move naturally and consciously, I also feel like it improved my posture."

Most of us have a specific way of moving we’ve never really noticed or challenged. Habits built over years, often to keep ourselves safe or small.
Embodied Dance is a 90-minute guided somatic movement journey, informed by dance movement therapy, where you get to explore your inner world through movement.
There's no mirrors, no judgement and no choreography to learn.
You’ll be guided through simple somatic exercises to warm up, release tension and connect with movement, then given space to move more freely, however feels right for you.
The four elements:
This class moves through water, earth, fire and air. Each one has a different quality to explore, with a few questions to ask your body along the way.
Water: fluid, flowing and soft. We follow the breath and let movement ripple through the body.
Earth: heavy, grounded and steady. We feel our weight, find support and take our time.
Fire: strong, sharp and energised. We build, release and let the energy move.
Air: light, spacious and gentle. We come back to the breath and settle.
What to expect:
· Gentle guided exercises to connect with your body and release tension
· Authentic movement, with time to move freely, explore and get curious
· Self-inquiry questions for each element
· Nervous system education
· Time to rest, settle and integrate at the end
Who is this for:
Anyone who wants to feel more connected to their body, whether you’re a mover or have never danced in your life. Move at your own pace and rest whenever you need to. There is no right or wrong way to move.
