Embodying the Exodus: Moving Towards Freedom

This event has passed Get tickets

    Event description

In every generation, we are obligated to see ourselves as people who personally went out from Egypt. Join us as we internalize the Exodus and transform, as a community, from captives to free people through reflection, music, and movement.

This powerful workshop features an eclectic playlist that includes African-American gospel, classic rock, Americana, and Jewish classics. All bodies and all abilities are welcome, as movement is based on each participant's unique emotions and sensations, in the moment.

Intrigued?  Come help us make a minyan and see why one participant said, "Bev created a supportive and inclusive environment where I could, for the first time, truly let go.  True healing occurred."  For questions, message withinmusicandmovement@gmail.com

$18-$36, sliding scale based on income. Please contact Beverly if financial hardship is a barrier

Beverly Whitewolff has led creative movement, dance therapy, and ecstatic dance workshops for BB Camp's Rejewvenation Retreat, Breast Friends, and the Jewish cancer non-profit Sharsheret.
