Snake Safety Briefing
An online workshop designed for anyone working with groups in outdoor environments, including educators, guides, instructors, volunteers and program coordinators.
This practical session will cover key snake safety considerations, including how to reduce the risk of snake encounters, what to do if a snake is seen, how to support calm group management, and the correct first aid response in the event of a snake bite.
The briefing is suitable for people working across a range of outdoor settings and is designed to build confidence, awareness and preparedness when leading groups in snake habitat.
