✦ Class Description ✦
Emotional Labor & Kink explores the often-unspoken work that travels alongside our play — especially for those who hold space as caretakers, femmes, BIPOC, and emotional anchors. Through quiet reflection, journaling, and boundary-mapping, we’ll examine what it means to be “emotionally available” by default, and how race, gender, and role expectations can blur the line between care and depletion.
Together we’ll name the signs of consent fatigue, misread intimacy, and emotional outsourcing — and explore language and strategies for reclaiming your capacity without guilt. This class offers a soft place to land, with tools and space to reflect on when to give, hold back, or walk away.
✦ About the Instructor ✦
Sarai311 (she/her) is a BIPOC kink educator, poet, and event organizer with three years of experience in the lifestyle. She has served as a Dungeon Monitor, demo bottom, and board member for Whippersnappers TNG, where she led DEIA initiatives, transitioned the group into an LLC, and organized major events like The Winter Gala and Kinky Goth Prom.
She is also the founder and lead organizer of BIPOC at Frolicon, a collective that centers Black and brown voices through curated programming, parties, and advocacy.
Sarai teaches across the Southeast, offering kink foundations, emotionally reflective workshops, and BIPOC-centered educational spaces. Her work has been featured at Frolicon, ConNooga, and Kink Down South. She is the author of What We Could Never Be, an erotic poetry collection rooted in BDSM, grief, and healing.
