En Plein Air painting workshops at The Cedars

Event description

Learn the expressive, nature-based and creative art of 'En plein air' painting at The Cedars.

En plein air means “in the open air” and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. Not only does this practice capture the true atmosphere of the subject but it is now becoming very popular for its therapeutic benefits. Being observant and creative while immersed in nature is a magical match for those seeking a break from the pushes and pulls of everyday life and a reconnection with (or discovery of) their creative side. In this series of workshops with local artist and teacher Jane Mant, unlock your creative side in the beautiful surroundings of The Cedars as you explore the wonderful art of creating en plein air. **
