EnTrance is a monthly 5Rhythms session at Marrickville Town Hal. It runs for 3 and a bit hours. No experience or fitness is necessary. The class consists of two 'waves'. In each one we start slowly, build up to a crescendo and come back down to stillness.

Gina will DJ, and the emphasis is on music that puts us into a trance state, so we can follow the rhythmic cycles that spiral us out of our busy minds and into the wisdom of our bodies. The class is geared toward high energy, but you take it at your pace. Lie on the floor if you need to, or dance in a chair.

The music will take you there, there's nothing to get wrong or right. There are no 'moves', instead, the invitation is simply to allow your body to move. It can be silly, daggy, deep and stompy, light and floaty... whatever is true for you. It's a lot of fun, releasing the shackles of self judgement. Once we get out of the way, profound experiences can arise. Or maybe you just shake booty! The community is lovely and friendly, and really, nobody cares what you like like.
