This is a list of the EnTrance agreements, which are designed to keep a safe, clear space for everyone to dance fully. If you come along, this is what we need from you. If any of these are an issue for you, please get in touch. PLEASE READ THEM ALL CAREFULLY. THANKS, loves.

BRING A VERY WARM SHAWL, JUMPER or WRAP; whatever you need to keep toasty while I'm teaching and when we're all sitting.
Have your tickets ready to show at the door to save time when everyone's checking in. Our door crew thanks you.
THIS IS A COMPLETELY ABSOLUTELY DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE EVENT!! No sneaky joints, turning up stoned or affected by substances. Save all that for your festival times. This boundary will be held with no exceptions (and yes, our door people are experienced enough to pick it a mile off).

There are two 'waves', which each start gently, build to a crescendo and fall away. In between, I'll teach the practice. Dance your own dance, there's nothing to get right or wrong.

There is no talking in the hall while the class is on.

PLEASE have your phones on aeroplane mode or preferably off. NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS, or texting AT ALL DURING THE DANCE.

Physical contact is by express invitation only. This means no touch AT ALL unless someone asks for it. Practice asking if someone wants a hug, instead of just barrelling in. Listen if they say no, and respect it. This is really important for people to feel safe.

If someone is dancing with you and it's unwanted, simply place your hands over your heart and turn away. This is a clear no.

If you receive this no gesture, move away from the person and leave them alone for the rest of the night.

If you come across someone outside the hall while dance is on, it is NOT ok to go and talk to them, offer advice or comment on their process. They could be deep in something. Please respect their space.

THIS IS A PRACTICE. ABSOLUTELY NOT SOMEWHERE TO ACTIVELY LOOK FOR A PARTNER. Use your dating apps for that. Please keep your energy contained so everyone feels safe.

This is a big class. The nature of it means we will have a full hall. Find where is comfy for you. The music gets loud in the middle chaos section. There are quieter places throughout the hall, so if loud music is too intense, find somewhere quieter. Or bring some ear plugs.

PLEASE DO NOT SCREAM AND VOCALISE LOUDLY!! Bring a tshirt or towel to vocalise into if that's what you need. With a full echoey hall, for neurodiverse humans it can feel traumatic when there's an avalanche of screaming. Keep that energy in your body and use it to dance.

No nipples showing, for any gender. It's only fair. Men, you can tie your tshirt or singlet to make a crop top, but leave your top on please.

You can say no to, or opt out of, any teaching exercises. Your autonomy is sacrosanct.

Bring your water bottle and fill up in the kitchen from the tap.

Bring SUPER WARM layers for the quieter parts of the dance and the teaching portion in the middle.

Confidentiality is a necessity in these spaces. Your process is yours to share. Nobody else's is.

No shazam, thanks. If you absolutely love a track, come see me when it's playing and I'll share it with you after class.

5Rhythms is a practice, much like a martial art. I am a teacher, who will give you everything I can to help you drop deeper into it. Please respect the practice by leaving your other practices at home, so you can drop deeply into this wonderful modality. This includes contact improv.

These spaces only work if everyone respects themselves, each other, the crew, the room and the practice itself. If you ever feel unsafe in amy way at all, come and see me, even if I'm in the middle of DJing. I am absolutely on your side.

Thanks for your agreement on these points. It means I don't have to do a big talk about it all and we all have space to dance.
