    Enviroteens Re-Animated: Recycled Superheroes

    Imagine how we can save the world from destructive waste and ignorance by making your own superhero. 

    Spend the morning playing with creating characters from recycled objects and learning about puppetry. Then the afternoon writing/drawing/brainstorming our superheroes into their own climate action adventure.

    Our superheroes will be displayed in the foyer at the Theatre Royal as a part of Archipelago Productions’ The Carbon Neutral Adventures of the Indefatigable Enviroteens by First Dog on the Moon. Packed with humour, science and battle jokes, Enviroteens is an uplifting show that will spark timely conversations between kids and adults. Workshop participants will also receive a discount code to come and see the production at the Theatre Royal.

    Facilitated by Bella Young - puppeteer and performer, and Emma Skalicky - playwright and qualified counsellor.

    Ages 8 - 14

    Please make sure you bring:

    - 3-5 recycled/used objects you find curious and could re-imagine as a character.- a newspaper/magazine to rip up into a puppet.

    Example of things to bring 
    - egg boxes
    - coffee holders
    - toilet rolls ***
    - scrap cardboard ***
    - scrap paper ***
    - plastic bottles
    - coffee cups
    - disposable gloves
    - any random small boxes - ie tea bag box size ***
    - some magazines/newspapers

    Please bring a packed lunch and water bottle.

    This workshop is in partnership with the Theatre Royal and in conjunction with Archipelago Productions' presentation  of The Carbon Neutral Adventures of the Indefatigable Enviroteens showing at the Theatre Royal from the 19 – 29 April.

    Participants in the workshop will be given a discount code to see the production at the Theatre Royal.
