EOI - After School Sewing Classes (Term 1)
Description
We’re planning a new weekly sewing class, and we’d love your help to shape it. Register your young person's interest, and we’ll use your responses to choose the most popular day.
The class
Looking to build your young person's sewing skills in a fun and supportive environment? Our weekly sewing classes are the perfect way for them to learn at their own pace while working on projects that inspire them.
Whether they're a complete beginner or already have some sewing experience, our instructor will guide them through projects and techniques guided by our instructor or their own chosen project.
Planned class details:
🧵 When: Weekly, 4pm to 5:30pm (day to be confirmed based on interest)
👥 Who: Suitable for beginners through to intermediate sewists
🎒 What to bring: Students will have access to our fabric remnants and basic supplies. If a project requires specific items, these will need to be purchased.
💰 Cost: $50 per class
Why join?
Learn at their own pace with expert guidance
Work on projects that genuinely interest them
Develop practical, lifelong sewing skills
Meet like-minded makers in a welcoming, creative space
Age & abilities:
Children under 10, or participants with a disability, will need an accompanying adult to work alongside them. This support person helps keep them on task and assists with following the step-by-step instructions.
Register your interest:
Let us know which day would suit you best and how many people you’d bring along. The day with the most interest will become our class day.
