This is an Expression of Interest for the Temporary Road Safety Barriers course, which provides participants with the knowledge and skills to select and design temporary road safety barrier systems for road works and events. The course provides an understanding of standards, the Code of Practice, VicRoads Road Design Notes, and approved safety barriers.

  • Introduction to temporary road safety barrier systems

  • Installation and removal of temporary road safety barrier systems

  • Maintenance and monitoring/surveillance of temporary road safety barrier systems

Russell is a Director with Trafficworks, a specialist traffic engineering design consultant, and manages the Traffic Management Team.

Nick Johnston BEng (Civil), BBus, MIEAust, RPEng (Civil)

Nick is a Senior Associate at Trafficworks with extensive experience in the development of traffic management strategies and traffic management plans for major road construction works and events.
