Are you keen to learn more about supporting women and genderĀ diverse people in sport? Then why not join us at this special film screening!Ā Ā
Sports people, parents, club volunteersĀ and alliesĀ are invited to join us at this freeĀ film
screening ofĀ Equal the Content.Ā
Equal the ContestĀ explores the barriers that still exist for women and gender diverse people to participate in
sport in Australia today. The film will be followed byĀ Q and A with sports people committed to
championing women, girls and gender diverse athletes.Ā

Synopsis:Ā When a 42 year old, non-binary filmmaker joins a new local womenās footy club in Regional Victoria a
simple desire to play becomes a complex journey of inclusion and belonging. An unexpected turn means the team has
to fight to play. Their campaign challenges age old sporting traditions and joins the widerĀ movement for
gender equity.
