Event description

This workshop is designed specifically for horse owners - to assist them in developing a more sustainable property that benefits owners, horses, and the environment.

Event details:

Join South East Local Land Services for a workshop designed for horse owners on small to medium-sized properties.

Participants will learn key concepts for managing horse properties more sustainably.

The workshop will focus on the health and well-being of horses and examine:

  • grazing behaviour of horses

  • grazing management of horses

  • steps to creating more sustainable properties to support healthy horses

  • practical solutions to common problems faced by horse owners.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear understanding of small changes they can make to strengthen land management skills and build soil and pasture health.
