Erupting Art Workshop (Ages 5-6)
Event description
Join us at Concord Library for a hands-on Erupting Art Workshop - a fun and educational experience that brings science and art together in an explosive way!
Led by artist and designer Aileen Sanjoto, this session introduces young learners to the science of volcanic eruptions through vibrant, tactile artmaking. Children will learn the basic science behind volcanic eruptions, including the causes and the materials involved (from bubbling lava to billowing smoke), before expressing what they've learned through their own layered volcanic artwork.
This event is for children aged 5–6 only. Participants who are not within this age range will not be permitted into the event.
Photos will be taken during this event. If you do not wish to be in any, please notify a staff member.
