Heathers the Musical - Teen Edition

Bold, biting, and irresistibly fun, Heathers: The Musical - Teen Edition explodes onto the stage in a high-energy production that’s as sharp as it is heartfelt. Featuring 40 of Launceston’s brightest rising stars, this electrifying show brings together powerhouse vocals, slick choreography, and fearless performances from some of the region’s most exciting young performers.

Set in the ruthless halls of Westerberg High, Heathers follows outsider Veronica Sawyer as she’s pulled into the intoxicating orbit of the iconic (and terrifyingly popular) Heathers. With the arrival of the dangerously charming J.D., high school politics turn lethal, popularity becomes a weapon, and fitting in suddenly has a body count.

Packed with dark humour, unforgettable songs, and moments of genuine emotional punch, this Teen Edition retains the wit and edge that made Heathers a cult phenomenon while being carefully adapted for younger performers. It’s a thrilling, fast-paced night of theatre that balances satire with sincerity, asking timely questions about identity, cruelty, and the cost of staying silent.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Heathers for the first time, this production delivers laughs, gasps, and show-stopping numbers in equal measure - proof that Launceston’s youth theatre scene is bold, talented, and absolutely not afraid to go big.

Secure your tickets now and experience a musical that’s smart, stylish, and unapologetically intense.
