Etching workshops with David Willis

David Willis is a printmaker, painter and sculptor. Over a long international career, David has honed his mastery of traditional etching skills.  KAN is thrilled to work with David to present these workshops that will guide you through the process of designing your image, etching onto a metal plate, and printing your final artwork using KAN's etching press. 

• Saturday April 6:  9am to 2pm (with a break)  Understanding the etching process, preparing your plate and drawing your image
• Sunday 7 April:9am to 2pm (with a break)   etching your image into your plate
• Saturday 13 April:9am to 2pm (with a break)  printing your image with the press.  

This is a small group workshop with only 6 people, and is a great opportunity to work in a focused manner to achieve great results.  There will be Dry Point Workshops run in May in a similar format. Together, these two programs will establish your skills for working with this classic printmaking technique.
