About Professor Rod Fensham: Rod is an Australian botanist based in Queensland (UQ and Herbarium), who led research on the national action plan for Australian eucalypts, identifying those (including Corymbia and Angophora) most at risk of extinction in order to inform the conservation planning needs of this most iconic plant group. Working with relevant experts and data, this plan was able to inform IUCN Red List and EPBC Act list assessment. He is the author of ACE Guide to Eucalypts Brisbane and is currently preparing the Melbourne version with colleagues from Latrobe University.
