Learn the art of knotless netting with EFTAG member and textile artist Trish Flynn.
To learn the technique Trish will guide you to cover a river stone or make a small bag using beautiful waxed linen thread. The technique can be used in many ways, from making small bags and other useful objects, beautiful pendant jewellery, scarves or incorporated into sculptural art.
The ancient textile skill of knotless netting, or looping is still used extensively by cultures around the world to make string bags, fishing nets and decorative items.
All materials are provided and no experience is necessary.
Morning tea is provided, but bring your own lunch as there are no shops nearby.
