Compositional Utterances is a site-responsive, collaborative exhibition by Brisbane-based artists Mandy Quadrio, Susan Hawkins and Jan Oliver. Working together as friends, collaborators and peers the three artists will bring together their chosen materials as an immersive installation. All three artists have practices centred on the formal and narrative potential of their chosen materials. Curated by Hamish Sawyer.

Ian Friend is an Australian artist best known for his subtle and evocative works on paper that explore the alchemy of materials. His works often incorporate layers of ink and gouache inscribed with lines of crayon and pencil, resulting in intimate and expansive pieces. Intimate Immensity brings together works created predominantly over the last five years and includes works on paper alongside new explorations in painting on panel and sculpture. A partnership with The Condensery and Moreton Bay Regional Council Art Galleries.
