Night and Day
Penny Mason
Discover Penny Mason's Night and Dayย exhibition, an evocative exploration of Tasmania's landscapes. Frost-etched watercolors and natural motifs converge, embodying the interplay of materials, observations, and presence. These weightless compositions mirror the ever-shifting physical world shaped by natural and human forces.

Fragments
Lizhu Huang
Lizhu Huang's captivating series, aptly titled Fragments, serves as a powerful representation of the fragmented remnants of psychological disorder induced by external pressures. Her sculptures intricately dissect and transform the eyes, mouth, and nose, transitioning from representational to abstract forms. These sculptures, deliberately tilted and unbalanced, poignantly symbolize the psychological disharmony inflicted by external forces.ย
Exhibitions run from Friday 29 September - Sunday 22 October 2023
M16 Artspace operates on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We honour and pay our respects to their traditional custodians. We acknowledge this land โalways was and always will beโ the country of Australiaโs First Nations People. Sovereignty was never ceded.
