Heka ~ The Magic of Ancient Egyptian (November)
Event description
The divine power wielded by ancient Egyptian gods (the neteru) and kings alike was known as "Heka". It was also perceived as a force created by the gods in order to maintain cosmic order and ensure the prosperity of the kingdom. As such, it was considered to be the power that made thoughts manifest through rituals, spells, and amulets.
In this workshop, we will be stepping into the world of the ancient Egyptians, exploring some of the underlying principles found not only within Egyptian myth, but also those which have influenced many magical traditions today.
Strictly limited placed available.
Gathering Around the Cauldron offers the opportunity for the genuine seeker, novice, or solitary to meet and connect with like-minded individuals, as well as sharing knowledge and gaining practical experience when it comes to working magic and ritual through the lens of contemporary witchcraft.
