Event description

Meet new friends, dance and have fun at this all ages and abilities disco, with music from DJ Stewi and performances from Chance2Dance. This event is part of City of Newcastle's Count Us In Program, which celebrates disability inclusion across our community. We will also be celebrating Families Supporting Families 20 year anniversary!

This is a free event but booking is essential.

Children will require a responsible adult (18+) to remain on site to provide supervision at all times.

Food and drink will be available to purchase.

Families Supporting Families (FSF) is an inclusive organisation for the WHOLE family of a child with a disability or additional needs. Formally launched in 2003, FSF is an incorporated charity organisation which offers peer-to-peer support in a friendly supportive environment, coffee mornings, occasional nights out, educational workshops with guest speakers, and school holiday events for families in the Greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. Parenting a child with additional needs presents it's own joys and challenges, we believe a strong social network and access to relevant information can help along the way.
