(Pre-Conference) Feeling the Future: Emotional Resilience for Environment Changemakers
Description
Ahead of the AEGN Environmental Philanthropy Conference, join fellow members for a dedicated pre-conference workshop exploring the emotional realities of climate and conservation work.
Climate and conservation work brings with it a full spectrum of emotions - grief, fear, hope, and everything in between. Yet in changemaking spaces (where there’s always a lot to be getting on with!) these feelings often go unspoken. This workshop offers a rare opportunity to pause, connect with peers, and build a shared language for the emotional realities of this work.
Through facilitated dialogue and practical tools, participants will explore how to strengthen resilience, sustain long-term engagement and better support one another through uncertainty and change.
Delivered by Psychology for a Safe Climate, the workshop draws on extensive experience supporting activists, organisations and communities responding to the climate crisis, creating a grounding and connective start to the conference with space for honest conversation, shared understanding and deeper connection across the network.
Morning tea will be provided.
