Family Fun Night: Merrylands
Event description
Free inclusive event for families raising children with disability, developmental delay, or autism.
Looking for something fun, free and easy to do as a family? Join us for a Family Fun Night at Chouchou Bebe Indoor Play Center located at Stockland Merrylands!
This welcoming event is a chance for children with disability to play and explore, while parents and carers connect with other families in the local area.
We’re excited to have Atilio from Dads Speak joining us on the night to chat with Dads and other male family members about their experiences, challenges, and the important role they play in supporting their children and families.
Registrations are essential, as places are limited.
What to expect:
- Free access to an indoor play space with multiple areas to suit different ages and interests
- Ball pits, slides, and imaginative play zones
- A safe and secure environment for children to explore and have fun
- Free refreshments and finger food for families to enjoy together
- A relaxed, judgement-free space to connect with other parents and carers
- A chance to chat with our experienced parent peer facilitators and learn about local supports for families
This meet-up will be hosted by Deb from Belongside Families
Deb is a proud mum to Elsden, a bright and kind 8-year-old with Down syndrome. Over the years, Deb has supported many families raising children with disability through her work as a peer worker and facilitator. She’s also a Learning Support Educator in a mainstream school and is passionate about inclusion—both in the classroom and in the community.
