UNAA NSW is proud to partner with One Planet, One Future and Ocean Lovers Festival to host the first screening in Australia of “Earth Protectors” by leading environmental artist, Anne de Carbuccia.
For the last decade Anne has artistically portrayed and documented human-caused threats to the planet, including drought, plastic oceans, species extinction and endangered cultures, which has been beautifully captured in the film - Watch trailer!

Guest speaker - Sophia Skarparis
Sophia Skarparis is passionate about stopping plastic pollution impacting on marine life. At the age of 14, Sophia collected over 12,000 handwritten signatures to support banning single use and heavy retail plastic bags in NSW and presented the petition to the NSW Premier.
Her efforts to reduce plastic pollution saw her awarded with the title, Australian Geographic Young Conservationist of the Year in 2018, receiving the award from the Duchess of Sussex.
Sophia will share how each person, family and community can positively impact the environment now and for future generations.
