Your instructor: Misha Askren has spent the last 25 years as a wilderness instructor with the Sierra Club, specializing in navigation skills. As a certified Sierra Club leader, he has led numerous trips throughout California, sharing his deep knowledge and love of the outdoors. Misha feels most at home outside, whether he's exploring backcountry trails or tending his garden in the city. His passion for nature has had a lasting impact on his children and grandchildren, who now share his enthusiasm and always look forward to camping or hiking when they visit.
