First Iranian Music Festival 2023 - Baaresh
Event description
Baaresh: Traditional Iranian music weaves intricate melodies, evocative motifs, and timeless stories, resonating across generations. Its elegant simplicity forges deep connections, adapting seamlessly to life's rhythms. Rooted in seven modes, called Dastgahs: Shur, Segah, Chahargah, Humayun, Mahour, Nava, Rast Panjgah.
The Dastgah of "Shur" serves as an anchor for this heritage. In the festival, we offer glimpses of the revered compositions "Abu Atta" and "Dashti," both belonging to the Shur Dastgah.
Performers:
Armin Riazifar: Santoor
Arman Gouniai: Tombak
