Description
The First Nations Disaster Preparedness Roundtable will bring together First Nations organisations, Emergency Management and Land Management agencies, and community organisations to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience across the Tablelands region. The event will support culturally informed and culturally safe conversations about disaster preparedness, resilience and community recovery.
Join us as our Keynote speaker Bhiamie Williamson (National Indigenous Disaster Resilience, NIDR) facilitates the roundtable event, with a catered lunch provided and networking opportunities designed to support connection, collaboration and shared learning.
Tableland Regional Council and Better Together Community Support are coming together to facilitate this initiative.
