Mindful Watercolour
Event description
This is a deliciously gentle workshop that will turn down the volume of the world and allow you to access your inner creative.
You'll learn the fundamentals of using watercolour with a focus on painting beautiful Australian native leaves.
We'll explore:-
- * Painting with watercolour foundations: Wet in wet (Light & Vivid colours) and Wet on Dry (thicker & darker paint)
* How to mix colours and utilise the transparency quality of watercolour
* Understanding light and shadow
* How to add depth to your work with layering
* Pulling and pushing pigment - including removing pigment
* Tips and tricks to have your work pop with fine detail brush work
* We will explore: bleeding, blooming, splattering and using salt to produce creative effects
No experience required and all materials will be supplied - afternoon morning tea.
This is an open adult workshop with limited numbers to ensure individual support.
