Australian folk singer Floyd Thursby has years of songs and stories to share, whether busking in the streets of Iran, playing in nursing homes, or performing for the Prime Minister of Vietnam. From singing French chanson with quartet La Mauvaise Réputation to spearheading the skiffle revival with Skiffle Party, Thursby is fascinated by all styles of music. His original songs cover the full spectrum of life, from the sweetest loves to the saddest losses, from grappling with anxiety to celebrating the opening of a roast chicken joint, or the simple pleasure of gazing at the stars. 

He'll be joined tonight by Dan Witton on double bass and vocals and Harry Lye on vibraphone.
