Family Law Pathways Network, Greater Brisbane and the Steering Committee is delighted to extend an invitation to members to attend a cocktail function marking the end of the year.
We are thrilled to announce that Her Honour Judge Goodchild will be our special key note speaker at our end of year event.Her Honour Judge Louise Goodchild is an experienced barrister having been called to the Bar in 2005. Her Honour’s practice included family law, wills, estate and probate law, defamation law, personal injury (particularly institutional abuse matters), human rights and native title law. Prior to being called to the Bar, Judge Goodchild practised as a solicitor in criminal law and native title law in New South Wales and Queensland. Her Honour’s previous experience also included an appointment as a Senior Judicial Member of the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
In 2024, Her Honour will become a Judge for Family Specialist Indigenous List in Queensland.Â
Her Honour  will share her views on the importance of the Specialist Indigenous lists within the Family courts, reflect on the recent Family Law Reforms and take questions from attendees. An opportunity not to be missed!
