    Event description

Join us for the 3rd annual edition of Flynn's Walk in 2024, starting and finishing at New Farm Park (next to Brisbane Powerhouse).

We're walking and talking to support veterinary well-being - come for the walk, stay for the conversation.

Veterinarians and other veterinary staff face many challenges in their line of work. We hope to build more compassion and understanding in the wider community and show support for the people who care for our pets. Flynn's Walk provides a platform for the veterinary field to come together to support each other in a relaxed setting.

Our event is FREE to attend and open to all, not just members of the veterinary community - friends, family, young ones and dogs are all welcome!

Join us at New Farm Park (next to Powerhouse) for a 5km loop community walk along the River Walk, turning around at Howard Smith Wharves and returning to the start. We ask that all participants register to assist us with planning and catering for the day. We follow an accessible walking route that is flat, without any major changes in gradient and there are no steps. You can choose to complete all or part of the route.

What can you expect on that day?

Arrive from 9.30am, walk begins at 10.30am sharp (with short formalities before)

    • FREE coffee van before the walk from 9.30am thanks to Petbarn Foundation
    • FREE sausage sizzle (with vego + GF options) at the end of the walk
    • A mix of FREE and PAID parking available nearby
    • Public Transport via Buses to New Farm
    • If you'd like to support our cause, you can make a donation here

We hope to see you there, thanks for your support!
