Unfortunately not. This is a 6 week course and participants are expected to attend at least 5 of the 6 classes.

This cooking course is intended for adults (18+) only.

Untitled - Do I have to try the food?

Yes please. It is part of the experience and the learning. We factor in your dietary preferences in the meals we cook however we ask you open to trying new foods and learning new cooking techniques.

Untitled - How many people are in a class?

We limit the number of attendees to 8 to ensure there is ample safe save to move around, and everyone can have a task to do.We do our best to ensure participants are comfortable working in a team with other participants during the cooking session. If noise and many people may be too over stimulating for you, you are welcome to step out to have a break or consider another cooking experience in a smaller group setting. Please include any Support Workers in your ticket registration, that will be attending with you.

Untitled - Can I register if I have done an OzHarvest NEST program before?

We are happy to Waitlist you if you have attended an Oz Harvest NEST program before - at FNH or elsewhere. We want other members of the community, who have never attended, have the chance to experience. If numbers are not met, we will contact you to offer a spot.

Untitled - What do I need to bring/ wear?

Please wear closed-toe shoes and sleeves that can stay up or be rolled up. Long hair must be tied back. Any hand jewellery will need to be removed. We will provide aprons and food handling gloves.

NEST is a 6-week cooking course delivered by OzHarvest

In this 6-week cooking course, participants will learn cooking and food handling safety essentials, for everyday life.

This course is designed for 18yo + and for those who have not participated in a NEST course before.

If you are wanting to learn new skills, are opening to trying new foods and wanting to manage your food budget and learn how to eat healthy, this course is for you.

Participants are required to commit to ALL 6 sessions. Please do not book if you cannot make all 6.
