For older Victorians: Celebrating COTA Victoria's 75th anniversary
Description
Starting off as the Old People's Welfare Council of Victoria in 1951, then becoming the Victorian Council on the Ageing in 1968, and finally the Council on the Ageing Victoria in 1991, we're incredibly proud to have been representing Victorians as they age for 75 years.
Join us at the Melbourne Town Hall Portico Balcony on the afternoon of 11 June as we look back on our history and celebrate what's to come.
Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served during the event.
We invite you to arrive from 1.00 pm. Short formal proceedings begin at 1.30 pm, as directed by our President, Mr Robert Caulfield.
This event follows one in the morning: World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2026 - Beyond Age, which takes place at the Melbourne Town Hall between 9.30 am and 12.00 noon.
