World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2026: Beyond Age
Description
Seniors Rights Victoria and COTA Victoria cordially invite you to their World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2026 showcase event, Beyond Age.
MCed by Max Primmer, the winner of the 2023 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards program's Ageing Well award, the event will also feature a video greeting from the Victorian Minister for Ageing, Ingrid Stitt. Seniors Rights Victoria CEO Ben Rogers will also address the room about elder abuse, Beyond Age, and our work.
Most importantly, the event will allow you to add to the Beyond Age campaign through an opportunity to take part in an interactive discussion on the positive and negative aspects of ageing led by Seniors Rights Victoria Peer Educator Sharon Butler.
Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served during the event.
We invite you to arrive from 9.30 am for a prompt start at 10.00 am.

This event is supported by the City of Melbourne through the community use of town halls scheme. It is followed by another in the afternoon: For older Victorians - Celebrating COTA Victoria's 75th anniversary, which takes place between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm.
